And you get what you pay for.  Crappy pens that quickly run out of ink.  We use fine poing gel pens which still cost about a buck each but are much nicer.

I attended a health fair yesterday and almost every vendor was giving away ballpoint pens.  Many politicians also give away pens.  There is no need for anyone living in Youngstown to ever have to pay for a ballpoint pen.
