That looks awesome inside. It looks like they took over the older Barley's Bar if I am not mistaken from one of the last images that they showed on that video. This will be terrific to have downtown and add to the food/bar options downtown. As someone that will soon be working downtown, I am excited to have this option available for lunch and dinner!

I was customer number 4 this afternoon....the pizza was good....they are planning to offer free delivery to downtown businesses and limited delivery services to the Youngstown area with a $25 minimum order....and will walk-up service window on Friday and Saturdays til 3 a.m.

It obviously won't replace the original Avalon, but I'm excited.  I hope the pizza is just as heavenly as what was served up on Belmont...

I hear the new Avalon Pizza Shop may be opening soon!  I had the opportunity to sample some the other day as a "guine pig" while they were trying out the pans lol!  In all seriousness, best pizza around hands down, without question.  I will be grabbing a couple of those 12" disks of love every  week for my traditional Friday dinners! I spoke with the owner for a bit and she has some really interesting menu items besides pizza too.  V2 definitely has some competition.  Competition is good it brings out the best in everyone.  Pretty excited!
