ibc that entertainment committee since its conception has been a terror on mankind. tt the reason for that question is for clarification. i was visiting my it fam in it for the first time several yrs ago. one of the questions during this visit was, "the bombs that fell on thier homes in san fior did your grandfather(thier father's brother) make the bombs at the steelmill in which worked all of his life until his death? tt this was the question made me speechless and tongue tied for the first time in my life.

Towntalk

No, he was racing through France with Patton, while my cousin was piloting his Liberator reigning down terror on German cities.

iwasthere

TT, you are right...back in the 40's when you were listening to Archie on the radio I probably even wasn't a glink in my father's eye or future plans as he was island hopping towards Japan....

Towntalk

:)  Dennis was just a wee broth of a lad when Doby Gillis was on TV.  :)  Now talk about ancient of age yet sound of mind and limb, those who can remember sitting around the radio and listening to Archie Andrews, there you are getting a poor soul of long years.

I believe the last bohemian artist/poet to use bongo drums was Maynard G. Krebs...
