Traffic Jam In Mill Creek Park

The Mill Creek Park Police did a terrible job of traffic control.  People driving toward Lake Glacier from Price Road had no idea they were about to enter a traffic bottle neck.  The situation lasted for hours.

Yes, keep this great event on the west side.
and
Yes, make massive improvements to get people to park elsewhere and perhaps shuttle them to the Davis Building gardens.

too many events are pushed out of this valley because some folks are inconvenient for a couple of days aka national hotrods generated milllions of dollars for a weekend in boardman. it is know in salem generating record profit levels for businesses and the city of  salem.

Move it to Boardman or Canfield ... anywhere other than the West Side where it inconviences folks? Or, don't have these events at all without the express permission of the West Siders.

Something different has to be done with all the traffic that results from the pumpkin event at Fellows Riverside Garden.  On early Sunday evening, cars were parked on both sides of the road along Lake Glacier.  Two way travel was almosty impossible.
