A while back, Youngstown made the switch from having 2 officers in a car to just 1. That way the could have more patrol cars on the road. The first officer is the unit number (IE Car 204) and the second officer is the unit number plus 'W' (IE Car 204-W).  They still dispatch 2 officers on a call and it's usually the pair if they are available (Car 204 and 204-W)
