Drop-Off Recycling Centers

I use the drop off site in Lowellville. I am yet to see one time where some plastic hasn't been thrown in with the paper or paper and cardboard in with the plastic and glass.......

SO are we wasting our time?

A few years ago I posted some photos of trash items inside drop-off recycling bins.  Items of trash mess up the recycling process.

Here is some information from the Green Team's website.

A bin that contains items that are not accepted (or that are placed in an improper section of the bin) is considered contaminated and may be rejected, forcing its entire contents to be landfilled.
