This workshop will present low-cost ways to test soils for contamination, assess site conditions, and amend the soil on demolition lots safely and effectively for growing food.  The seminar will focus on possible lead contamination and how to deal with it, strategies for compacted soils, and how to add organic matter to help plants thrive.
