They gave money to a religious group who shares their beliefs.

As they have the right to.

That some don't like it is too bad. I don't like companies donating multi millions to political fronts at all. But they have that right.

i do not have problem speaking their opinion but i am concern when they funnel some of their monies to organizations that spread their hate/distain against other residents in usa.

Is there someone on this forum who has a problem with the first amendment? The owner of Chick-Fil-A made a statement about his personal beliefs. Last time I checked he could legally do that. A small group of people disagree with his beliefs. Fine, they are also permitted to do that. The majority of Americans obviously agree that he has the right to state his beliefs.....

It is a pitiful few who do not support his rights.

As far as the Dixie Chics, one of them made a stupid statement, she's also permitted to do so. Some of their fans stopped buying their records for a while. Other people bought their records and never listened to them. Don't know of anyone who said they weren't within their rights to speak though...........

I may disagree with many people, but I will fight for their right to speak their minds...

I saw the coverage on TV.  The concept is similar to that of a Cash Mob.

Now that Mike Huckabee has organized a Chick-fil-a Day in support of free speech....

Will he do the same and organize a Dixie Chicks Day in support of free speech as well?

Or does free speech only work if the speech is for conservative values?
