The Music in the Park with Friends series began five years ago as a way to expose the residents of the tri-county area to great community bands they would not normally see. In the past we've welcomed bands from Kettering, Ashtabula, and Hudson in Ohio and Somerset from Pennsylvania.

This year, we've booked the Mercer Community Band from Mercer, PA. Mercer will be taking the stage with nearly one hundred musicians this sunday in what is sure to be a fantastic performance culminating with a mass-band finale of our National March, the Stars & Stripes Forever!

Come out to the park and enjoy both bands from the lawn! A concert like this only comes up once a year, so plan to be there!

The concert will be held Sunday, July 29th at 2:00 pm at Boardman Township Park.
