WRTA Approves Sales Tax Renewal For November Ballot

i hate to buy a car with mass transit i cut out a huge expense from my income.

The Western Reserve Transit Authority board finalized the renewal of the 1/4% sales tax to maintain bus service to Youngstown and the surrounding suburbs.  This issue will not increase taxes.  Without it, all service will be cut and WRTA will cease to operate.

WRTA has worked hard to manage and maximize our state and federal dollars, but this can only go so far.  Public transportation is critical to thousands of residents and vital to our local economy.
