Today's Vindicator is running a very disturbing story about the future of the Lordstown Assembly Plant that everyone should read.

If indeed GM closes Lordstown in 2009, it will be the single most devastating event in the Valley's history since Black Monday, and the impact will be felt throughout the whole valley, and not just Youngstown and Warren.

The question is, could we survive another major plant closing, and what would it mean for Youngstown's future?

It's hoped that it won't happen but the headline sounds a warning we must take seriously ... "Threats to the future of Lordstown are real".
