Is a store coming to the downtown?

Without coming right out and saying anything the Mayor this morning very very briefly mentioned the fact that the Metropolitan Bank who owns the McCrory building is doing good things with the building, but Mr. Rivers didn't press him, but them Mr. Rivers only wants to allow the people he's talking to to speak for 30 seconds or less ... even the Mayor, so Mr. McKelvey couldn't say much.

There are also a rumor that a local developer of no little fame will be making a big announcement in the next few weeks or so. Could there be any relationship?

There is a rumor going around that a dollar type general store may be coming to downtown Youngstown.  Has anyone else heard a similar story?  There appears to be only one possible location currently in the downtown which would not need extensive remodeling to accomodate it.
