Time and again it has been said that our children are our future. But what kind of
future will that be if we can't give them their "now" — a "now" that promotes a promising
future?" A "now" that instills hope and a desire to do bigger and better things?
Now our children go to a school that is across the street from a home that needs
pulled down.

Now they walk through streets full of trash and past lots that are overgrown and neglected.
Now they go to school in an area riddled with crime.
"Now" is all they know and the "now" they know is just not good enough!
Now is the time to make it better. Now is the time to make a difference.

Adopt a Block Kids ... and YOU!

What: Around the Schools Clean Up

When: Saturday, August 20th AND Saturday, August 27th
9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Meet at Taft Park behind Taft School

Bring: Mowers, trimmers, shovels, rakes, yard tools,
hammers and saws for boarding up and a smile!
