Some notes on the Stambaugh Building

The land where the Stambaugh building originally was occupied by the Park Hotel. The hotel was torn down to build the Stambaugh Building, and was home to the Euwers Department Store. Later the Pennsylvania Electric Company took over the space formerly occupied by Euwers, and later Bonds Clothing Store. The last occupant of the Euwers section of the building was People's Bank/Society Bank/Key Bank.
