Let them change the rules. In 2 years the Republicans have a really good chance to retake the Senate. Then the Democrats will be stuck with their own rules.

I see that Harry Reid is trying to change the Senate rules so as to make their razor thin majority more effective. 

Democrats lose elections then want to change the rules so they still win!  Where was al lthis concern about the "rights of the minority" during the last two years?

Political double talk 101.

Tim (Pelosi) Ryan in a press interview yesterday said that he hopes that the Republicans will be willing to compromise with the Democrats during the 112th Congress knowing full well that were the shoe on the other foot the very idea of compromise was unthinkable except on minor legislation such as renaming federal buildings or federal highways.

When his mentor became Speaker, she promised the Republicans a place at the table, not telling them that their seats would be outside the room, and most business of any importance was done behind closed doors in the dark of night.
