Here is a novel site that let's you have a little "say" in how our government spends our money. http://republicanwhip.house.gov/YouCut/  Each week the House Republicans put up 5 proposed spending cuts, things that they think should be immediately cut from the budget. We get to vote on which one we want presented. The winning proposal is submitted directly to Congress for a up or down floor vote, and a list is compiled showing how every member voted.

Check out the site and vote. Each week five new proposals are put up for a vote. You can go back and review the past votes and see for yourself which politicians really want to cut spending, and which ones only talk about it. Check out Ryan's votes. It's really revealing.
