I know, I've downloaded over 20 books just on the history of Youngstown. If I had tried to purchase them via eBay when they came up, they would have cost me a small fortune.

Yeah, Google is pretty amazing with their books project.

I love the old issues of Ohio Architect Engineer and Builder magazine... tons
of good stuff about period homes and buildings, their architects, and lots of info
on how these places used to be put together - even some good structural
diagrams here and there.

I only wish they had more issues available....

Thanks.  I have been using Google Books for quite a while doing just those searches.  I have to do new searches periodically as they are always adding new books.  I'm waiting for them to upload all of Iron Age and Iron Trade Review from the 1890s until 1923.  They may get around to it someday.

Rick in doing a Google Book search using Youngstown as the key word, I came across a large selection of steel related publications that you might be interested in downloading for your library that date back to the early 1900's such as Iron Age.

Also use key words such as Youngstown Sheet and Tube.

Using Brown Bonnell brings up publications back to the late 1800's.

Same with Lloyd Booth Co.

Same with William Tod Co.
