There is actually a group that travels from city-to-city taking pictures of old street lights. They where at the corner of Oak Hill abd Cleveland Street a few years back taking pictures.

The street dept. was probably buying these up for spare parts!

Interesting.  But, isn't Youngstown's antique traffic control equipment still in use?

While attending the Dave & Ed's Auto Parts Swap Meet this weekend, I noticed many people purchasing old traffic signals.  Surely the city of Youngstown has some used equipment they could sell at such events.
