I would encourage all tree lovers to take a walk around Wick Park this weekend. Very, very beautiful right now.

I would love to have a Tulip tree again, The electric company killed the one in front of the house I where I grew up on the South Side.

First attempt at posting pictures.  Hope it works.

Both of these pictures were taken in my back yard.  First picture is of my Japanese Maple.  Very vibrant this time of year.  The second picture is the giant Tulip Trees along the edge of my yard.

I love the combination of the old trees and the red brick roads in Oak Hill Cemetery.

I love variety Rick, and can appreciate all four seasons. Of course that's easy to say when I don't have to work in the outdoors anymore.

We used to drive out every fall for our fall colors tour. Been doing it for over 25 years. Just me and the Mrs to see the fall colors.

Missed it these past 2 years.

Never really saw the attraction to the colors of fall.  All it does is remind me that the good weather is over and I have four months of cold, brutal conditions ahead.   I DO get excited when I see the first buds of spring though!

These trees are located in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Youngstown.

In my neighborhood, the best and brightest trees seem to be in front of the worst houses.

I haven't had a chance to take a picture, and I think the trees are past their prime color, now.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Just refreshing this topic.....I'm surprised no one else has come up with a great tree!  Any takers?

It will never fall.  It looks like there are 100 utility wires holding it in place!  :)

It's a Maple. And I'm not sure of the age. the House was built in 1900. So could easily be 100+. I guess.

Please post pictures of colorful trees in your neighborhood.

Has anyone seen any particularly glorious trees this fall?

There is a maple on the 3600 block of Irma between Pointview and Kent on the Southside. It is offset by a pale yellow house (sadly, unoccupied). It looks great with the sun shining. It might just be past its peak but still worth looking at the next day or so.
