We Should Raise Green Tomatoes on the West Side

I was in the Cornersburg Sparkle Market today.

While walking through the produce section, I noticed that green tomatoes were selling for $5.39 per pound.  WOW!

Maybe we should start growing green tomatoes on the west side of Youngstown.  Where you ask?  It is winter.

I propose using a portion of the Cityscape at Briels Greenhouse located on South Belle Vista Avenue near Mahoning Avenue as a possible growing location for this project.

We could provide jobs on the west side and raise marketable green tomatoes.
