I was in a grocery store this weekend.  While walking through the produce department, I noticed an employee emptying a box of bulk garlic.  I looked at the discarded box.  Printed on it was "bulk garlic, product of Spain."

I know garlic is grown in the United States.  Why do people keep purchasing foreign grown produce?
