Almost In An Auto Accident Today

I was heading north on South Schenley.
I stopped at DeCamp for the traffic light.
The light turned green so I stated to head north.
At this area, South Schenely has double yellow traffic lines.
I just switched on the left turn signal before making a left turn into the Mill Creek Deli Plaza. This is about 100 yards from the traffic light.
I was just starting to make my left turn when I heard a car engine roaring as it passed me to the left.

If I actually started my turn a second sooner, I would have been broadsided by the passing car.
