Vehicle Smashes Into West Side Post Office

The West Side Post Office has now reopened.  A few boards remain on the damaged portions of the front windows.

The West Side Post Office is still closed.

The West Side Post Office remains closed even though the broken windows have been boarded.  Those with post office boxes are asked to travel to the main post office in downtown Youngstown to receive their mail.

Sometime overnight, a vehicle smashed into the front of the West Side Post office on Mahoning Avenue.  All of the glass and metal frames of the lobby were pushed into the building.

Needless to say, the post office is closed until repairs are made.
