HOLY COW!!!  THAT WAS FAST.

I will admit that the hypothesis I posted about was, and still is, not true. Heck I'll even accept that it may never be true in my lifetime.

A new bus shelter has now been installed.

Why?Town

It may be good news that is proving me wrong.

It appears that a new cement pad has been installed.  A rectangular tarp is now covering the area where the bus shelter had been located.

Removing the cement pad seems quite excessive. I wouldn't be surprised if they're hoping it doesn't need replaced.

Giving all those so called free rides last year, not to mention what wrapping a bus costs, probably has their coffers running low. Even at that, they may still figure out how to afford erecting a statue in place of it to honor LGBLMs or some other alphabet soup group to help everyone forget that it was ever there.

No worries, another levy asking for some extra sales tax (added to the now permanent sales tax) will fix everything for them...until they waste enough to need even more.

Every piece of the bus shelter has been removed.  Even the cement pad is gone.
It is difficult to determine if the WRTA will replace the bus shelter.

The WRTA bus shelter on Canfield Road in Cornersburg was recently hit by a vehicle.  This is the bus shelter in front of the nursing home.  The remains of the shelter are wrapped in red caution tape.
