Sobriety checkpoint to be held in Mahoning County on Friday

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force announced today that a sobriety checkpoint will be held in Mahoning County on Friday.  Specific details of the checkpoints will be announced at a later time.  Saturation patrols will also be conducted throughout the weekend.  Warning signs must be posted at checkpoint locations to notify drivers as they approach, and law enforcement agencies are required to announce the date, time and, and location of an OVI checkpoint.
