NEA Big Read - DIY Ojos de Dios- The Big Read!

In honor of our NEA Big Read book “Into the Beautiful North” by Luis Alberto Urrea, join us and create a beautiful God’s Eyes craft. Originally made by the Huichol Indians of Mexico, they are created using intricate weaving techniques with colorful yarn and believed to have special powers.  We will learn about their origin, cultural significance and some of the creative ways you can make them unique to you.  All materials will be provided for this free program.
