Mahoning Valley Greens Invited to March In Boardman's Memorial Day Parade

The Boardman Kiwanis Club and Boardman Park invite you and the Green Party to
participate in the Memorial Day Parade and the Memorial Day Services. The
services will be held at the Maag Outdoor Arts Theater in Boardman Township Park
immediately following the parade.

Groups participating in the parade will assemble at the Center Middle School at
9:30 a.m. and the parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. You should probably enter
the school parking lot from Stadium Drive. Lt. Colonel Bill Moss, USAF
Retired, will be the Grand Marshall and Speaker. Reverend Ash Welch of the
Boardman United Methodist Church will give the invocation. Lt. Colonel Bill
Moss, USAF Retired, will lead the pledge of allegiance and place a wreath in
honor of our deceased veterans. Mark Luke of the Boardman Kiwanis will serve as
Master of Ceremonies for the Memorial Service. The Boardman Spartan Marching
Band will march in the parade and provide music for the Memorial Service.

In the event of rain, the service will be held in the Boardman Middle School
Auditorium.


Green party members, please come out and march with us! Wear Green and help us
pass out candy and literature!


Prior to the parade the Kiwanis Club would like to have you join them for
breakfast at the Beard Cabin in the Boardman Township Park at 8:00 a.m.
