If you need assistance in any area of your life the library's Community Support Specialist is here to help.

In addition to a listing of local meals, shelters and showers, there are various other long term shelters and housing options to which the specialist can help you transition.

The Community Support Specialist can help with the following:

- Referrals for those dealing with addiction or mental health issues

- Help navigating the Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security/Disability System

- Transportation

- Assistance with getting your loved one help in their home

- Support with connecting services for your special needs child

- Uninsured and need help getting proper medical care, or medications too costly?  the Specialist can help refer you to the proper resources
