i  say quit complaining about food and booze and enjoy the people, the music, the food, the art, the fun of the world that day, because one day your family and friends will be celebrating another great Mexican holiday that is called, "the day of the dead", which you will not be a part of that day's celebration. let the games begin.

charter transportation will be provided for free and independent taxi will be available for those who need it.

Most places are serving food...its just been a little hard to get 17 businesses to submit to me exactly what they are having.
Also, for those who do not want to drink, there will be a large art show at the B&O Station, there will be music and dancers, poetry readings and art work based off the readings of Robert Manzano. We also have The Ballet Western Reserve performing "Vivir" at 7pm and the Zabelle Dance Theater performing at 8:15 pm.
The City of Youngstown, the YSU Early College Program, East High School and the Alpha school has worked really hard to put all this together.

Hope you guys can make it, I stopped by the B&O last night and it really looks amazing!

In addition to all this good stuff downtown, Casa Ramirez on Mahoning Ave on the West Side has the best Cinco de Mayo I've seen.

live mexican music, good food, a packed house...all good stuff.

if you are not a person to beverage, this may be a good in-city option.

 >:( No offense but judging by the list those attending better have someone who doesn't drink with them for the trip home. >:(

I only see one place that will be serving Mexican food.

Why so much empthesis on booze? Mexico has some really great food, and if this is a Mexican celebration you would think that the restaurants would be serving some Mexican dishes.
