Aluminum cans. $.32/lb
Aluminum wheels. $.50/lb
Bare Bright Copper. $2.15/lb
Electric motors. $.10/lb
Car Batteries. $.19/lb

This happened recently on the evening before trash collection in Youngstown.

Within one hour, three different pickup trucks drove through the neighborhood looking for scrap metal.  It must be a waste of someone's time for three trucks to cover the same neighborhood,
