fire damaged homes

I live on Wesley, and now that the weather has improved am walking my dog around a couple of blocks in my area.  Noticed a increase in fire destroyed homes in a two block radius. Inquired with my neighbors and was told all fire damaged homes had happened within the month.   This is a red flag in my eyes.  I understand accidents, but most of these homes are vacant,  only two homes actually had families living there.
