OVI checkpoint announced for Friday night in Mahoning county

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force has announced it will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Friday night. The checkpoint serves to deter and intercept impaired drivers.  Officers will be checking for alcohol and drug impairment.  Specific details about the checkpoint have not been released at this time.  Saturation patrols will also be conducted throughout the weekend.  Check back with WFMJ for the location of the checkpoint.
