Wake Up Our City Employees

Happy to hear this.

Maybe it just took a while to get it done because the city workers are so damn busy all the time. Eating donuts maybe?

Or maybe some homeless person took it under the bridge to sleep on.

Either way it's good to hear it's gone.

I never had to call.  The box spring was remove by Monday.

You may be the beginning of the end of that box spring.

I drove pass this area on the bridge today after 2:00 p.m.  The box spring was still there.

I'll check this spot again on Monday and call the city if the box spring wasn't removed.

My guess is that not only did some (maybe all) city employees ignore reporting it, some other city employees ignored it if it was ever reported by anyone.

A box spring is on the sidewalk on the Mahoning Avenue bridge over Mill Creek.  The box spring has been there for at least three days.

How many city employees and YPD cars passed the box spring in the last few days?  Was it ever reported for removal?
