Troopers reveal numbers from recent safety belt campaign

The Ohio State Highway Patrol recently joined forces with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project in an effort to increase focus on safety belt enforcement. During the project, troopers in Ohio cited 6,358 people with safety belt related offenses. Throughout all six states, 12,972 safety belt citations were issued.
