Metal contamination prompts Tyson chicken recall

Tyson Foods, Inc., a Rogers, Ark. establishment, has issued a recall on approximately 11,829,517 million pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat chicken strip products.  The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall Saturday after it became apparent, that the products may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of metal.
