Youngstown's Blessings

If we think we have it bad here, think again because things are just as bad in Cleveland if not more so. We might well thank the leadership here for the hard work they're doing to bring Youngstown back.

A number of years ago, Cleveland was dubbed "the mistake on the lake", and as we read news about Cleveland today, that name holds true. Ironically even as the Plain Dealer is reporting the fall of Cleveland from its lofty heights, it persists in bashing Youngstown, while other newspapers across America praise us including the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Go figure.

Pittsburgh is not happy about the fact that PNB bought NCB because it will lessen the competition there since NCB has a number of branches in the Pittsburgh area.

The Mahoning Valley has some 15 branches of NCB.
