Fire Wood - A Free Source

The tree trimming crews hired by FirstEnergy remove limbs and branches near power lines.  The crew runs the small branches through a chipper.  Logs are cut to manageable size and left on the property.  The property owner usually doesn't want the wood. 

The tree trimmers were on S. Schenley today between McCollum and Sheetz.  The wood is usually piled at the base of the tree.  Always ask the porperty owner before you take the wood.
