Citizen helps nab suspects with drugs in East Liverpool

The East Liverpool Police department says a tip helped nab two suspects with drugs and a loaded gun. The department posted on its Facebook page Saturday that a resident reported a vehicle in a downtown church parking lot and suspected drug activity. Officers responded and initiated a traffic stop. A K9 officer then sniffed out narcotics in the vehicle, police said. According to the post, the search turned up a loaded firearm, prescription narcotics and marijuana.  Police say ...
