Alliance man indicted on rape charges in Mahoning County

An Alliance man has been arrested and charged by U.S. Marshals for multiple counts of rape and gross sexual imposition. According to authorities, Thirty-four-year-old Travis Messenheimer's alleged victim is a minor.  Messenheimer was indicted yesterday by a Mahoning County Grand Jury on three rape charges and one charge of gross sexual imposition.  Messenheimer is currently being held in the Mahoning County Jail.
