Fallen tree traps driver in Ellsworth Township

A rescue squad was called out early Wednesday after a car ran into a tree that had fallen across a road in Ellsworth Township, trapping the driver inside. A Mahoning County Sheriff's Deputy first went to Palmyra and Herbert Roads shortly before 6 am where he found the car tangled in the tree. The deputy said there were several other trees that had fallen in the same area. The driver wasn't injured but was trapped in the car until the tree could be removed.
