Illegal immigration and border security are major domestic issues that must be dealt with, particularly along our southern border.

Logically, a fence along the entire southern border is not cost effective, and would take years to build, yet we know that the problem is placing a serious strain on our healthcare system, and the school systems particularly in the southern tier of states, and to complicate matters, violent crimes committed by drug cartels especially along the Texas border with Mexico is spinning out of control.

A number of American cities have declared themselves "sanctuary cities" in defiance of long standing federal law.

Question:

How do you propose to deal with this problem?
