Snapped pole closes part of Warren's East Market Street

Part of East Market Street in Warren is shut down as crews work to repair a utility pole that was snapped after a crash. The single-vehicle crash happened early Saturday bringing a pole and wires down across that road near Belvedere Avenue. Traffic is being diverted onto side roads to get around that area as Ohio Edison works to repair that.No injuries were reported. FirstEnergy says half a dozen homes are without power. Repairs are expected to be completed by 10 am.
