What everyone continues to downplay the success we are having right now in Iraq. With the proper troop levels, we can easily be victorious in Afghanistan as well.

Georgia has lost more people in 5 days than the US has lost in 5 years in Iraq...

O gimme a break Jay. They are our Ally. We are going their for diplomatic and humanitarian reasons.

If your son is being bullied in school, do you help him or do you left him fend for himself?

Posts like this make me more supportive of McCain every day. Liberalism is going to kill our strength as a powerful military nation....  >:( >:( >:(

Ummm... last time I checked, the folks in georgia are not our sons...

The United States is already spread pretty thin with Iraq and Afghanistan, I hope we don't get caught up in another
undeclared war (pr "conflict" as the current administration likes to refer to it...).

The bottom line is this: We, as a country, cannot be the police force and "enforcer" for the entire planet...  In recent years,
we have lost a lot of respect in the world community, not to mention "political clout".

The problem my friend is that most Americans today have forgotten Russia's history.

THE HUNGARIANS HAVEN'T
THE CZECHLOSLOVAKIANS HAVEN'T
THE POLISH HAVEN'T
THE GERMANS HAVEN'T
THE UKRANIANS HAVEN'T

WE ARE SEEING HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF.

1. There are already U.S. military personal in Georgia training Georgian troops.
2. The military personal being sent are escorting "humanity aid". Just how many are going has not as yet been reported.

I am following this story extensively and for the latest developments go to http://farrell-report.tripod.com.

I'm getting 4 hours sleep a day because of this story.

Remember Russia's past history such as in Hungry and Czechoslovakia??

REMEMBER THE BERLIN AIRLIFT?

I just heard on the radio that U.S. troops are being sent to the Republic of Georgia.

What are we getting into now?
