Ohio State Highway Patrol release holiday driving statistics

Ohio State Highway Patrol says that there were 11 deaths on Ohio roadways during the 2018-2019 New Year holiday.  Six fatalities were the result of not wearing a seat belt and four were OVI-related. The Ohio State Highway Patrol started their holiday reporting period at midnight on Friday, Dec 28, 2018, and it ran through Jan 1, 2019.  During this period last year, there were six fatalities reported.  According to the press release, troopers made 448 OVI arrests...
