Vienna Township police cruiser involved in Route 11 accident

A crash on Route 11 involving a Vienna Township police cruiser took place on Wednesday. According to authorities, the accident is currently under investigation. Our 21 News crew arrived on scene around 7:00 p.m. and found a smashed SUV, along with a police SUV being towed away. Traffic was backed up for quite some time in the Northbound lane while crews tended to the wrecked vehicles. The Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. There is no word on any injuries.
