Anglophiles Unite! Thames Frost Fairs

When: Thursday, December 20, 2018 - 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM
Where: Main Library at MN Large Meeting Room

During the winters in the late 17th to 18th centuries, the River Thames was used as commercial and entertainment through-fare.  It was not uncommon for the River Thames to freeze over for up to two months at time.  Find out what type of activities and events they held on the ice of the Thames.

Refreshments will be served.
