A topic on a local talk radio program this morning dealt with the perks enjoyed by government employees.   Later in the day, I started to think about the perks offered to some employees of the private sector.   I'll start the list going.  Add any private sector perks you know about.

Some restaurant employees are able to buy meals at half price.  This could save them several dollars per day.

General Motors employees are able to buy GM cars at a great discount.  This results in a savings of several thousands of dollars per car.

The staff at doctors' offices are often treated to lunch by pharmaceutical salesmen.

Clothing store employees often receive discounts on purchases.
