Does anyone know the outcome of this meeting?

Why?Town

I wouldn't doubt the goal here is to make some money selling zoning permits.

There are potential health risks from trailers not being tied into the city's sewer system, heck some trailers have absolutely no plumbing whatsoever.

Trailers have axles and wheels, mobile homes are taken to the site with one-time use tires that must be removed but "manufactured homes" end up as real houses that are built in sections at/in a factory of some sorts. Big differences between the three.

I'll also add that think Karen Perkins is some kind of idiot.

Guess you have to go to the meeting to find out--The whole thing is crazy..

This is crazy.  Youngstown is better than this. We are not campgrounds. The health risks alone are enough to make this disgusting FYI..
..Karen Perkins, from Planning and Zoning is trying to get a variance passed on the 10/16/18 board of appeals planning & zoning meeting for a camper to be placed on a vacant lot and call it a manufactured home. Laura Fulmer, the Zoning Inspector is dead set against this because it's against the zoning code. Karen Perkins is going over her head to Sharon Woodberry to get it approved, trying to claim it's not really a trailer if they cover the bottom of the trailer to make it look like a manufactured home. Laura said if this passes, it'll open up all vacant properties vulnerable to having campers/trailers on them. The zoning appeals meeting is tomorrow at 1:30 pm in City Council chambers.
