Council Keeps The Citizens Waiting

I apologize for not being able to attend tonight's meeting to gather signatures. An educational matter came up an the end of my school day that required my attention and as building principal I was in meetings until 6pm resolving the problem.

The Youngstown City Council meeting was scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. this evening.  The council members were conducting a finance meeting in another room and didn't enter the council chambers until 6:05 p.m.  Needless to say, the thirty citizens in the audience were not pleased with council's tardiness.
