Williams warn of a less "Robust" Youngstown City Budget for 2008

Jay Williams the mayor of the city of Youngstown announced last Saturday on Herman Hill's morning radio show of impending budget concerns for the 2008 fiscal year. Williams blamed the local and national business community leaders for the problems affecting the Youngstown budget. However, he vows to continue the high spending practice of housing demolition across the city.

When radio host Hill asked Williams "What is he most proud of during his administration?"...Williams could only talk about his high spending program of housing demolition.  He made no mention of any efforts to attract jobs or businesses to the city.

Commentary; Williams' comments about his actions as mayor reminds me of the stories about the sinking of the Titanic..."You could hear the music band playing as the people cried and screamed as this once mighty ship sank to the bottom of the sea."
